I think this is mostly true... Nub is still getting a boat load of highly athletic talent on a decade old reputation. I guess that's what makes Nubs all-the-more laughable and this thread so true. I hope that the Nub fans a really excited about having Bo Pelini around for a long long time. Dude has mouth-breathing mediocre coach written all over him and the further away from Osborne (and Solich) this program gets, the harder it will be to recruit on tradition alone.

I guess only time will tell what things will be like w/o Callahan doing his Bo's recruiting. And do you really think Callahan would have lost to Iowa State?

By all means, embrace Pelini... my money's on him being a complete &@#%-up by the time he can "develop" his own players. He rates just above Hawkins @ CU as the 5th best coach in the Big XII North.
