McGruder has the best release I've ever seen from a K-State player. It's a huge deal to have that outside threat to open up things up for our interior players, so I'm pretty pumped about it.

I don't think he'll be as good of a shooter as Brown would have been this year.  but he makes up for it with ability in other areas on the floor.  All brown could do was his weird flip shot.

Nah, better than Brown because he can shoot it over a defender. Brown had to be wide ass open because of his low release. And Like you said his game is much more complete so he brings more to the table.

I haven't watched Rodney too closely. How does he look defensively? I'm guessing this is what will limit his minutes.

Let's keep it real though, McGruder is doing very well, but its likely he has an 0-4 or 0-5 performance in him, and I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't in one of the next couple games.  He's not going to shoot 75% from 3 for the year.

looked kinda slow to me in the two games that i saw. i will add that i don't know anything about basketball and that i don't really pay a lot of attention to the games when i go to them. just didn't look like he had quick feet/movement.
