I would be okay with this as long as he comes to KSU after Snyder leaves on his own terms.  G-Patty can learn about Big XII football at ku and then be ready to hit the ground running when he gets to KSU.  Come to think of it, what could be better?

Just out of curiosity..why would he go to Kansas? Edsall has already turned down Syracuse and Georgia Tech. His alma mater and the school he was a coach for. Syracuse and GT are both in the recruiting footprint where Edsall has connections, experience and success. Both schools are in BCS conferences. Yes he chose to stay at UConn.

Knowing this...why would he go to a school in the midwest where he has no personal connection (other than Perkins) and no recruiting connections.

RE would have a better chance of getting a BCS game in the smaller non Texas/OK Big East.

UConn can pay as well as Kansas.

So what would be the appeal?
