Title: Mangino Out?
Post by: WildcatNkilt on November 17, 2009, 01:08:55 PM
So reading all the squawktard comments on KC star and Phog, sounds like there is a very good chance Mangino won't be coaching for Tejas game.  Either way, this does not look good for ku's recruits.

Wow, they're really freaking out over there.  It's hilarious that all of the same arguments that we've previously brought up about Mangino's mediocre coaching resume are being brought up over there now.  2007 is now being discussed in the proper context for once.  A nice season, with only two good opponents and one good win.  One guy is actually trying to argue that he is more than happy with an 8-4 season every year, even if that meant going 4-4 in conference every year.

from kusports board...obviously just hearsay, but interesting none the less.

"MM was offered half his buyout to walk. If he doesn't walk, ku goes public.

Meahwhile, assistant coaches are going to meet this evening to decide whether MM should coach against UT and possibly rest of season.

No new HC standing in shadows.

If MM walks, interim coach will come from staff, most likely Warriner."
