Post by: royalswild on November 15, 2009, 12:29:27 PM
And &@#% the preseason big 12 rankings.  I have no &@#%ing clue why these mother &@#%ers all year have been projecting OU ahead of us.

one of the top 10 players in the country.  pair of incoming mcdonald's aas, senior four year starter.  how would you not rank them above kstate?

You lose Griffin, and Kansas State has a returning senior and an mcdonald aas.  We also got legit Pullen.  Add that on with Jamar Samuels that I believe will be a complete stud.  Not trying to argue Sys, just trying to prove some EMAWness.  Oh lets not forget about UCONN transfer Curtis Kelly.

But OU was very good last year, we were average

Well last year we had no post players.  We have Kelly down low now.  And Jamar Samuels will be a complete stud down low as well.  You'll be surprised by the difference instead of being used to Ron Anderson and Luis Colon.

Just people predicting stuff.  Don't let it get to ya.  Besides, Kelly was a bust at UCONN so who knows what people expect out of him...obviously not as much as we expect.  Samuels was really inconsistent last year.

I say let em put us where they want and just be all excited when we blow up everyone's magazines.

Don't get too worked up about preseason rankings. They are a complete joke. Some of them seem right but I'm pretty sure the rankings are based on making schools with huge fanbases happy

I'm with jois4ksu.  A very wise man once told me, "let the pickers pick and the players play."

Amen.
