Title: NUt Stompin' Time!
Post by: CatsNChiefs on November 14, 2009, 06:39:45 PM
OB is gonna use this crap performance to coach 'em up.  One field goal off a nice Banks return should win the game!  After we get the field goal just victory formation and punt till 00:00.  No problem.

KSU managed 12 points against Mizzou's defense.  What on God's green earth makes you think they'll manage even half that against Nebraska?

Shouldn't need 12.  We get 10 and Houl/Hreb will take care of the rest  8-)

It's possible, but highly unlikely to happen again.  Nice try.  Even if KSU manages to force ANY, they still have to score.  Good luck with that.

And 8 turnovers too.  With the amazing display of kicking today by KSU, shouldn't be a problem!!!

Helu's playing again.  Our offense isn't stellar, but here's how they scored compared to common opponents
               NU    KSU
LA LA-      55     17
Iowas St-  7      24 but even with 8 turnovers put up more yards than KSU (NU-362 KSU- 360)
Mizzou-    27      12
Texas Tech- 10   14  Again (NU-285 Yards KSU-284)
Kansas-    31      17
Oklahoma- 10      30- Props for that game

Total-     140     114.

I would say our offenses are pretty comparable.  Also note that the 3 games that we failed to match KSU's score we played with out Roy Helu or with him in a very limited capacity.

you do realize that Green's only played like 8 or 9 quarters out of all those games listed (most of it in mop up time or when getting blown out) and was then replaced by Lee when his suckage surfaced.

Clearly, Bill used the Mizzou game to set up an emotionally-charged pounding of Nubb, aided by the fact that the playbook will be opened further than it has all season. Bill's gonna pull out all the stops to make sure we win the North in Lincoln.

Well, at least that's what I keep telling myself.

Green is 2-0 as a starter. Including OU.

Baylor =  :jerkoff:
OU = pulled after one quarter due to suckage and Lee came into the game.  he may have been the starter, but your defense won that game.

Heard a lot of these exact type of comments before you laid that giant turd against ISU.  Held to a single TD against ISU and the sker's somehow think it's 1995 again.  Does the entire state share a single brain cell or what?
