Postgame: Pissed we gave up 40 points. It might suck for FB, but BB? The man's a freak :excited:
-
Frank should be pissed, we played terribly. Horrible effort and sloppy play.

He was pissed we gave up like 40 points in second half.
-
Not too many turnovers, but piss-poor rebounding effort.
Frank was still pissed at the end of the game. Can't imagine how mad he'd be if we gave up 60-plus like the sqwawks.
-
We were unbelievable bad today, it was sad. Rebounding was pathetic. Also, black ref was on a power trip (against both teams)
-
Frank might be pissed, but I am all   thinking about this team.

Rusty is going to be so mad when he finds out someone hacked into his account and is posting stuff like this.

like how our guards sucked but we still won by a million points.

quit being a jackass. Just because I don't suck Snyder's ballz like you doesn't mean I'm not 100% emaw.

our bigs are incredible!
We do feel very thin at guard. Miss freddy. :frown:

Martavious replaced Freddy - not Nick.

never been more pissed about a 38 point victory. horrible effort the entire first half, little better in the second half, though only in spurts. our bigs don't rebound (or they just need to realize that it doesn't take 3 f'ing people to block a shot). dom is absolutely worthless. was extremely encouraging that we could score 90+ and look like that.
-
God forgive me for saying this but.......
Lu is going to help a lot in the rebounding game. :steadymobbin':

No, he had it right. After Russell's pass to Wally on the fast break I was all :woot:

Rebounding and not making shots in the first half were the problems today. Everything else was really good. Love the way our bigs run the floor.
Can you imagine what this team will look like with everyone playing well at the same time?

not making shots happens, not rebounding is an effort problem.

Did you guys really get outrebounded by that team?
Whoa!!

defensive rotations (and boxing out after rotations) is probably one of the most difficult things to learn. They'll figure it out.
My only concern (and a minor one at that) is that Loyola played harder for most of the game, which is something you rarely saw last year.

So...I'm starting to get a bad feeling about K-State basketball fans. Too many people trying to sound expert-y while sounding angry at the same time. It reminds me a lot of ku Football fans. If you guys all jump off the bandwagon after the first hoops loss...

I thought that McGruder would get more playing time in the first half. He made 3 3pters in mop up time which was nice to see. I was over all disapointed with the effort and lack of intensity. But I love Kelly on the offensive end.

maybe that's why they look so sh*tty, I dunno, not elite enough to know where they should be, all I can see is them half assing it to every ball (like, everyone, not just the bigs). Chris fracking Merriewether was second on the team with 5 rebounds and I think he got them all in the second half.

I agree. Really, our frontcourt is all newcomers + Samuels right now. They'll get it soon. Maybe not by Puerto Rico, but by January.

we kind of need them to get it by puerto rico. can't afford to put everything on the conference (again).

They'll be fine. Even if they don't do well in PR, they'll pick up some valuable losses a la oSu last year.

This is great discussion. If you like sunshine pumping no matter the effort I have a couple boards I can recommend.

constant sunshine pumping doesn't apply to Frank on any board, FWIW. He's too "not one of us" for that to happen.
-

his anger makes him one of us.

Our rebounding right now consists of Kelly, Samuels, and Henriquez jumping up and down like they are on pogo sticks. Never saw a single box out all night.
Seriously, I really think Colon's effort on the boards can really help us. That sounds ridiculous to say but I think it's true :-[
-
based off of what i saw last night kelly seems slow which is probably the reason he wasnt successful in the big east. the boxing out for the whole team was terrible but the effort was worse. luckily it sounds like frank is pissed about it all and apparently so was pullen.

This.^
Love both of these guys, but the rebounding really has blown from them, thusfar. Two things that stand out - JH still needs to get A LOT stronger (of course). What kind of surprises me is that for athletic as CK is he doesn't really have great hands. Dude rarely catches an entry pass cleanly and affects his rebounding.
