Title: Guys, guys, guys, if you as a fan are "thinking" about NU, we lose against MU
Post by: Pete on November 13, 2009, 12:36:03 PM
I read some of the other message boards, and it has been made clear to me that if you, as a fan, divert any amount of YOUR focus from tomorrow's Mizzou game, we will lose against Mizzou.

ALSO, if you as a fan ROOT for NU tomorrow, you may cost us the North title.

This &@#%ing crap is in YOUR hands.  Do NOT &@#% this up.

The synergy of fans focusing on the upcoming opponent is very underappreciated.  Hope it doesn't bite us tomorrow.

Dr. Laurie!   Great Prof.

Guys, I found this chart that illustrates just what Pete is talking about.  That thing that says "Clear exit at 1.2875"... well lets just say you don't want to know what that means.  :ohno:

what happens if I look ahead to the football game and don't focus enough attention on Loyola?

Will solely focusing on the bball game to night possibly hurt mizzou game prep?

No, this is definitely true!  If you as a fan don't cheer hard enough this weekend, the Wildcats will lose.  Case in point a few weeks ago before the Iowa State game, I went out and drank on several weeknights.  I visited a few gentlemen's clubs til all hours.  I spent a lot of time talking sh*t on message boards, and when it came game time, I was not prepared to cheer for the Huskers as hard as I could at the T.V. screen, and because of my lack of focus and irresponsibility we turned over the ball 8 f'ing times.  On Niles Paul's 80 yard reception that he fumbled before walking into the end zone, I was going to the bathroom, because I had drank too much beer.  Not very responsible for a college football fan.  There was an Iowa State fan at the game and he was talking smack.  What did I do?  I didn't ignore it like I know I should've.  Instead I said, "Hey buddy you can go (have sexual intercourse with your own anus)"  Sure enough 15 yard personal foul.  To top it all off, I was eating hot wings.  What if Bo Pelini called me up and said he need me to hop on a plane suit up and hop in on kick off coverage?  I wouldn't have been able to do it because I had 48 hotwings in my belly.  My mistakes cost the Huskers a win, and since that game I have totally shifted my focus and have been bringing my A game every day.  Studying message boards, talking sh*t to the right people at the right time.  Don't think that I'm just hear giving you guys sh*t  I'm all over the Jayhawks message boards getting ready for this weekend.  One game at time.  Peace out

Question:  Where you talking sh1t to ISU fans leading up to the game or to the fans of the next team NU was to play?  This is very important.

To be honest I was talking sh*t to Baylor fans that whole week.  Texas Tech fans were talking sh*t to me, and that hurt my confidence.  I built up that rage and took it out on Baylor fans, totally overlooking ISU.  I didn't even think that ISU was worthy of trash talking.  Paul Rhodes, I don't even know anything about this guy, how can I make fun of him?  I didn't know any of their players.  I just completely overlooked them, and while I was overlooking them, they were staring me straight in the eye, talking sh*t about Zac Lee, about how ugly Bo Pelini is.  I wasn't prepared to respond.  But don't think I'm overlooking ku this week.  I'm talking twice as much smack to them.  Typing at 100 words a minute.  I've said things about Reesing's mother that you didn't even know were possible, and I'm still holding some back for next week.  So watch out m.f.er's because I've got some sh*t up my sleeve.  You keep saying not to underestimate Snyder.  Never, I mean never, underestimate the Donkey Punch's ability to change the outcome of a football game by talking smack on a message board :chainsaw:

Pete, I think what you're getting at is kind of like this:

http://www.alltm.org/pages/crime-arrested.html

So if we can get some of these people to quit worrying about violence in Washington D.C. for a second and focus on physically dominating/destroying MU this weekend, were good as gold. I only wonder what kind of karmic debt will be incurred....? Something to consider.

I wasn't thinking about Nebraska at all until Pete posted this thread.  Now I'm really concerned that just thinking about Nebraska a LITTLE bit might eff the whole thing up for us.  I'm def. worried.  I'm pretty sure I cost us the '96 Cotton Bowl by going out and getting hammered drunk the night before and being too hungover for the early kickoff.  I wish there was a way to get into the d-punch time machine and un-think about Nebraska.

I've been saying something to this effect in my videos for some time.

As for me, I have been doing Japa meditation, only instead of structuring it around the words of a prayer (first 10 words of the Lord's Prayer, for instance, or the first 8 words of the Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi), I have been structuring it around the repetitive mantra of "Wildcat Victory."  When we win tomorrow, y'all can thank me.

Is it bad at all if I'm already looking ahead to the CTR v2.0?  Cats, Horns, New Cowboys Stadium.  Just wonderin'.

Obviously you didn't read my earlier post.  I spent way more time talking sh*t to Jayhawks than you guys this week.  I pull a sweep reverse pass yo momma joke on the JayHawks website geared at Reesing.  I said that there defense was really bad in expletive ways.  If it weren't for my smack talking the Huskers would've lost today by at least 10 points, but you can bet your bottom dollar that Ol' DP was a big part of the Husker win today.  One game at a time, peace!

You know I can really appreciate the fascination with everything Fatgino and fagU, and the fact we have had about 50 threads concerning the gayhawks' travails, but we are playing the nubbs for a Big 12 North title this weekend. I hope our boys aren't as mesmerized by the goings on in lowrents as are the great majority of our fans on this board. Good grief!
I know, I know you pay your money and can write anything you want and I don't have to read it, but our focus needs to be on the game in Lincoln. How many times can you post the same thing over and over again. I get it, Mangino is fat, Perkins is ruthless and the jayhawks season is clearly in the toilet. Halleluja, move on.
