loved the TD Mizzou scored where we didn't have a defender within 30 yards of the WR.

I was there and it sucked. MU was ranked #4 iirc. We were ahead 15-14 at one point, but we just fell apart from there. Our tackling on the Maclin return TD was pretty pathetic.

mizzou has always been a paper tiger under pink-hole. A finesse team that never had a chance in h*ll of winning the big 12. Don't get me wrong, they had a boatload of talent in 07 & 08 but I never looked at them and thought that I was seeing a dominant football team capable of winning the big 12 and seriously in the hunt for a MNC.

seriously?  in 07?  I remember telling most they were tards for thinking it was a winnable game.


we were going to win bc it's mizzou and we own mizzou.

Maclin put on a strap on & fracked our defense/specials teams. That's all.

P.S. - This has sorta been a revenge type of year, when Snyder retired he couldn't beat CU & A&M (Check, Check). With Ron we couldn't beat ku, NU, & MU (Check, ?, ?)

Aw yes. The blocked punt that Ernie Pierce picked up and ran it in for the TD.

My favorite was when we were being pounded at Mizzou in '06 and Prince is going into the lockerroom at the half and is talking to the reporter about winning championships.

i rolled with two guys who taught him the game... needless to say, made the ride back to the stl a real joy  :banghead:
