Title: A Tale of Two Coaches
Post by: Tannoudji on November 10, 2009, 03:47:58 PM
Well, well, well....

Looks the Nay Sayers on this are jumping back on the "bandwagon".  I wish I would say I was surprised and welcome you all back with open arms, but I know better than to waste time saving your seat when its all but certain you'll jump back off when the first bump gets hit.  I don't see too many posts from the "hip-kids" kougar24, steve dave, and michigancat bashing on my head coach anymore (notice I didn't say "our", because you'll never let him be your head coach).  I bet this latest win is burning you up inside isn't it?  While I sat there in the sun basking in another KSU victory, you were probably getting drunk in the parking lot and trying to figure out a new angle to attack this University and try to act like you "just don't care".

But I am not here to "rub it in".  You all know you were wrong and that all of us who believed in Bill were right.  It's too bad for you that Ron Prince "was never given a fair chance", wah  wah wah!!  It amazes me how every day we see the consequences of "The Quest for Diversity" all around us, yet you all are blind to the chaos it wreaks upon this nation.  KSU football is THE case study.  It ends the debate.  You hire the best coach, not the PC one.

And now I get to my point:  the best coach.

In the Big XII we have the best points of references.  A coach who does the most with the least and a coach who does the least with the most.  I am of course speaking about Bill Snyder and Mack Brown.  Sure Mack Brown has the money, facilities, "name", and 5-star recruits.  Bill has the heart, work-ethic, blue-collar attitude, and 5-heart recruits.  Mack Brown underperforms and underachieves with his 5-stars.  Bill overwhelms and overachieves with his rag-tag crew of 5-hearts.    The two coaches are polar opposites, the grasshopper (Mack Brown) and the ant (Bill Snyder).  If Bill Snyder was at any other school in the world, this years reclamation project would be the lead news on every college football headline.  But we all know about the media-bias against us.  In the end the mainstream media will crown Mack coach of the year, but we all know who deserves it.

KSU football:

It was the best of time (Bill Snyder gets hired), it was the worst of times (our PC thug administration runs him off to hire their "look at how inclusive we are" joke).

It's about to best the best of times again.

I don't understand the hate toward the bandwagon....If it weren't for the bandwagon we'd have 4,273 fans.......

Besides the bandwagon has a couple of kegs stacked up next to the hayrack....in fact, let's call it the boozewagon....maybe we'll get even more of you losers to jump on....

a) Already said I was wrong on my prediction for this year, like, 3 weeks ago.

b) I'm always amazed when people are shocked that winning brings a fanbase around to support the current regime. SHOCKED.

That being said....  :notworthy:

I've got an airtight alibi on this one. I was picking up an extra afternoon shift at Chipotle when this was written. Jmlynch1 will vouch me for.

Interesting post, but don't know that Mack Brown can really be described as an "underacheiver." Has won at least one more national championship than Snyder and most other college football coaches for that matter.

Maybe I missed something over the last few years, but I wasn't under the impression that snyder was run off.  I thought the decision was all his.  BUt if I am wrong, I would love to hear the story.  So please, educate me.

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of quality, it was the age of quantity, it was the epoch of EMAW, it was the epoch of RCJH, it was the season of Manhappiness, it was the season of Lowrents, it was the autumn of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to the North Division lead, we were all going direct the other way . . ."

Apologies to Charles Dickens...
