Schedule irony so thick you could cut it with an Orange Bowl (http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=172&f=2485&t=5075378&p=5)
While he has done a nice job, I think it also has a lot to do with the North sucking more than usual.
That and his schedule. Even as bad as we have played, I think the Phat man would have the same record in the Big 12 as OLD BALLS this year, if our home schedule consisted of Colorado, aTm, KSU, Misery, and a game at Arrowhead vs. ISU. Road games would be at Texas Tech, OU, and Nebraska. I doubt we would be playing as bad either if we had the confidence that the schedule would build. Let's face it- our schedule has sucked this year and granted we should have fared better it has been a big contributor to our demise
Its a dream schedule for KState. Have the 50/50 games at home and the games you can't win anyway on the road. ku wins against Colorado and KState were the games in Lawrence instead.
Indeed! Can't wait to bypass the North division title and head off to the Orange Bowl!
you will never win a meaningful game in football............................Orange bowl. When was your last BSC victory since you are a football school??
Aw crap, I thought that was how you get to the Orange Bowl!?!?! Now I'm confused.

Was game against ISU in Manhattan?

LOL
They have no idea how much the college football world laughs at their joke of a program. Most national boards agree that ku is a one-year fluke.
-
They won 8 games last year including their bowl. 3 of their 4 of their OOC games were at home.
We've won 6 already and we lost two in the OOC including two road games.
They're just jealous.

Is a BSC bowl prestigious
-
It must be since KSU has not won a BSC game.

Gotta love how winning the Fiesta Bowl in '97 is supposedly not the equivalent of a BCS game in their eyes.

How soon they forget this is exactly how they had the fluke season in 2007, the difference is Snyder knows we are not good and will make us better. Mangina thought they were on top of the world so decided to quite coaching and eat himself to death.

Heard some idiots on the radio complaining about uk's "killer schedule" because they have to play Texas and OU in the same year.
Earth to dipsh*ts: These schedules aren't just pulled out of a hat at the beginning of each season. If there are years you have to play Texas and OU, then there are years you don't have to play either of them. Like - say - 2007. What goes around come around.

Just curious, which boards don't agree?
