A.) Don't understand how college football works.
or
B.) Understand that Kansas State is the exception to how college football works.
Which is it?
I'm generally not impressed with the knowledge of sports fans, so I'm leaning towards A. But maybe there are loads of super-intuitive geniuses out there that I'm not aware of?
-
Bad things happen to us, always. It's B.

Wiki KITN, you see us.

If Lamark Brown would stop listening to his fat little girlfriend and focus, we'd probably be undefeated.
-
Pretty sure LaMark will have a catch this week.

There are many layers at work.
Some perhaps know who Kansas State is and understand how circumstances play out for us.
However, there is more to it than that.
The question of when things happen and why and what the ultimate result is, may show no common thread.
It's identifying/predicting the when that is the most difficult piece.
But even then, a member of Catdom should not give up hope. Satisfaction may come, afterall.

Some pro gambler just picked KSU to win by 8. Kk usually has a different pro come on. Curious to see who he picks.

It's just the easy way out. They can still root for the Cats to win and then say "I told you so." if they lose. They're just a bunch of pu**ies... scared of what the ku fans are going to say to them if we lose. I feel sorry for 'em. Serious insecurity issues.
I just don't see the talent disparity that everyone is talking about. They're no better than us. It's all about attitude and coaching. I see this game being 10 points either way, but the psychological advantage has to go to us. We're playing well and winning and their playing poorly and losing. Even if they jump out to an early lead, our team will still believe they can overcome. I just don't see us losing this game.

2 weeks ago the second pro gambler predicted the opposite of the first one, "Adam".
-
State by 14
-
Second pro gambler on 810 picked us plus the points, but that doesn't mean we win from his prediction.
-
ksu wins, by 1 point or 70 points... I cant get a read on either team, but by how we are playing - I think we win. Will it be a aTm where we dominate them totally OR will it be a CU game where we dont score in the second half OR will it take a blocked extra point? I just cant figure this team out.
-
Kansas has fool's gold talent.

Being hopeful is what fandom is all about.
Being a homer is necessary to root for a team.
If you are always pessimistic and never believe that you might exceed expectations, you're not a fan.
I'm always slightly optimistic for every game and I know WHO WE ARE. (which gives me even more credibility)
I'd say I'm 1% more optimistic than pessimistic (optimism always ultimately wins out) and that is all it takes to be a fan. If you are any less than that, you are, at best, a bandwagoner. (cireksu, rustyksumichiganwhatever, other famous pessimists)
Pessimism is meant for the long term/big picture.
For example,
Kansas State will never win a National Championship. I know that is absolutely true. But fandom makes me believe that maybe, just maybe, on the one millionth attempt, we might actually win it.

Pro gambler #3 picked us to win by 1.

Wrong.
Straight truth.

I forget the exact year, too lazy to look it up. ku was ranked in the top ten. Opening drive 3 and out, blocked punt....game over 41-7. All it will take is 1 big play and I think the same thing happens. God, I pray we win the toss and the defense punches them in mouth and Banks takes it to the house. :ksu: :ksu: :ksu:
