anyone notice that k-State had a huge advantage when we had that massive crown on our field and that our program has gone to sh*t since we made the field pretty flat?
we had one of the best crowns in the nation - if not the best. now? not so much. hardly any crown. since the removal of the crown, our record has gone down the tubes.
why doesn't some big booster step up and insist that we install a huge crown again so we can get back on track and win a few ball games? maybe because they didn't realize it was the crown that gave us such a huge home field advanty.
i'd be willing to chip in a few bucks but along with the crown installation, i would insist that we get that stupid looking powercat off the field and put a respectable looking logo out there.
thoughts? if anyone wants to donate money to the crown installation fund, you can PM me and i'll give you my private paypal addy and then aggregate all pro-crown/anti-powercat funds into one lump sum and submit to Kirk McGuffin all at once with a well crafted letter explaining our position and demanding action with our funds.

Why dont we all just sneak into BSFS and crawl under the turf, therfore create an artificial crown? My freinds that is forward thinking.

I could get behind this IF we made the crown like 20' tall. Snow games would be awesome because noone could stay on the field!!! Hilarity would abound!!!
It would also almost guarantee 100% home field wins. Our guys would be totally used to it while the visitors would be completely lost out there. It could become the new Snyder trademark (like scheduling creampuffs). Great idea.

Great idea. I would start by hiring David Winbush as a "Crown Consultant", and ask him how high of a crown would have made him equal to or better than Darren Sproles.
