Title: It's all about the LB'ers
Post by: Chingon on November 03, 2009, 10:25:20 AM
Can ku's defend the option, the "wildcat", and the TE?

Can KSU's contain Reesing, avoid over-pursuing and cover the slant?

There is your game IHMO.

I feel like Kassanavoid spying Hansen worked pretty well. Probably would for Reesing too.  :dunno:

Rick Daris and I were discussing that during the CU game as well.  Rick is a lot like Lee Corso...see's a lot of what going on out there.

Kass did a nice job with that.

yes, we did discuss this a fair amount.

here is my take on the ku game- i could care less about anything other than special teams and turnovers. if we can win those two areas, then we win the game. don't care about anything else. need to win them both though.

I'm amazed how much of an impact a RS frosh(and former Missouri high school QB) is having playing along the defensive line. His strip of Arnaud was one of the overlooked plays(due to how it ended) that contributed to what could be a season defining outcome. And he's made his share of plays on defense since then.
