Cole Aldrich has to be the most consistently bizarre quote I've ever encountered.
If you don't believe me, here's what he said about Sherron Collins today:
"He's like the girlfriend and I'm the guy."
I have no idea what that was supposed to mean. So I said to him, "I just want to give you a chance to explain what you meant by the 'Sherron is the girlfriend remark', because that's going to be on every sports blog in the world."
"I know," Aldrich said. "It will be. I just like to tease Sherron about little things, like I say Sherron is from the suburbs, but he's not really from the suburbs. He's fun, though. That's the greatest thing about our relationship is that, you know, we can mess with you guys and have a little fun with you guys and have a little fun with each other."
Cole, a little advice...I don't care how much you love him, don't ride in any elevator with Sharon.

Cole has been around long enough to know better IMO. This is just a preview to their over-confident eventual downfall this year. They may have more talent than any team in the country (other than our real rival), but I sense their attitude will lead to sub-par efforts. Very typical for Self.

hard to believe that Bill Seff lets his players talk like this...really a true sign of disrespect, there's no discipline in Lawrence- that much is blatantly obvious
