Title: Strategies for the ku Game
Post by: dlew12 on November 01, 2009, 03:26:49 PM
Ok guys, I'm in a predicament.  For 11:30 games, i've gotten pretty good at waking up around 4:30 and tailgating till the gates open, then getting in my seats and EMAWing.

But this friday presents a problem, because i have to work until about 3am.  So I'm kind of thinking about just staying up and start tailgating.

ku comes to Manhattan once every two years, so I can probably handle it on pure adrenalin and alcohol, right?

Has anyone else put much thought into their "strats"?

Take a little nap or you'll start crashing when EMAW needs to be hitting its peak.

Some of my friends do this. They like pop and adderall around 3am and drink the rest of the day.

I heard that adderall and alcohol aren't the best mix. What gives? :dunno:

You should not do stimulants and alcohol at the same time.

I don't do adderall and I never have. Been told to stay away from the stuff. I see so many idiots that ruin themselves from that drug.

What about a rum and coke?  Isn't caffein a stimulant?  GTFO my face.  I say experiment!

No bar.  Not even a job, really.  My fraternity is having a philanthropy that we all have to be at until 3am.

Brilliant eh?

For me I'd just stay up all night.  Never needed much sleep and the EMAW will be flowing.

Now, if you are worried about your stamina, take a 1 hour nap.  That 1 hour is huge (is the best part of your sleep anyway).  Then get up and get ready to roll.

The game should get you rolling and fired up from opening kick off to final whistle.  Your biggest issue will occur just before you begin to tailgate and an hour or two after the game.

Taking a stimulant is unnecessary and would put you the major vag status in my book (why pop a pill you shouldn't need).

I hope you are kidding.  If not know that mixing those two can have several side effects the least of which is masking the effects of alcohol, which can lead to overdrinking and alcohol poisoning.  Larger effects include ulcers and heart attack.  Good luck to you.

FWIW if you are going to do something completely wreckless why not pull a venzy and snort coke off a stripper's ass?

Some one hasn't put the proper amount of thought into their strategy.  Very rookie mistake.

I'm working the night shift this month, and have to cover 12 hours on Friday night and Saturday night (so my UF bosses can have the weekend off and go suck on some Tebow nuts)  I get off at 5:30, and have to be back in at 5:15.  I'm planning to be in bed by 6, up at 12:29 for kickoff, and hopefully get a nap after the game before I have to go back in.
