Title: A reminder...
Post by: Purple_PhotoShopper on October 29, 2009, 07:36:41 AM
This is a reminder for me to call 610am (in KC) after our last football game. Listening to Chris and Cowboy (I think these were the ass-clowns I was listening to as I drove home yesterday) they both stated over and over that "K-State will lose the rest of their games this season."

Said 3-5 finish is going to happen to the Cats.

Bet these two have never played a down of football in their lives. Probably male cheerleaders back in college.

Funny thing is when they call KK a homer.

"Pot, I like you to meet my friend Kettle."

i heard the same. it's all fine and well to have that opinion. but if you're going to come out and emphatically say k-state won't win the big 12, please tell us who will.

MU is going to beat us in Manhattan. Are they really that sure? How can they be. MU is staring at 0-4 right in the face.

Of course, the excuse for KSU beating Colorado was that CU can't win on the road, Hawkins is an idiot, they fumbled the ball on a snap, muffed punt...But after CU beats them in Folsom a new excuse will arise.

MU just plain looks like crap this year on both sides of the ball. Gabbert's sore ankle has something to do with that but even Colorado gave Texas a game. In Austin.

0-4 could very well happen...but I"m still holding out for 2-2.

It's ridiculous to predict that the Cats will finish 0-4, given two remaining home games against inconsistent North opponents.

But the squawks have just as good a chance, if not better, of winning the North.  At some point, Sparkles, Briscoe and KM are going to get their crap together and rack up more points than their defense allows - and it could very well happen in Manhattan.  If we lose to uk, a win over Mizzou may not matter because uk will probably also finish 4-4, with the tie-break over us.

We've got to beat the squawks.

I only turn that station on during Royals games.  Used to listen to 810 all day long, but rarely even turn it on anymore.  Once they lost the Royals they pretty much stopped talking about them and filled that time with crap.  Even though I like the Chiefs, I just could never get into listening talk about them.

CU fans are kind of dumb. they rush the field after every win over a ranked football team, even if they are ranked 25th. Klatt called them out on it on the Big 12 show saying it is embarrassing for former CU players when they see fans rush the field after every win. If they rush against MU who is unranked and 0-3 in the league then, wow. Might as well join the WAC at that point.
