Title: Figuring Out The Final 4 Weeks
Post by: DoDRepeat on October 27, 2009, 04:47:08 PM
Kansas State 3-1
Iowa State 2-2
K-Who 1-2
Nebraska 1-2
Mizzou 0-3

(bold means should win, * means swing game)

Kansas State Remaining Schedule
@ OU
ku
MU

@ NU

5-3 with tie+ on ISU and CU, probable on ku and MU.

Nebraska Remaining Schedule
@ Baylor
OU
@ ku*
KSU
@ CU*

Anywhere from 3-5 to 5-3 with a potential tie+ on us

K-Who Remaining Schedule
@ Tech (fat girlfriend situation fixed)
@ KSU
NU*
@ Texas
MU in kc*

Anywhere from 1-7 to 3-5 (at best) with a potential tie+ on UTEP ;)

Iowa State Remaining Schedule
@ A&M*
Okie State
CU*
@ Missouri

Anywhere from 3-5 to 5-3, but we have tie+ on them while they have one on NU. Iowa state is probably the most interesting team in this situation..

Colorado Remaining Schedule
Mizzou*
A&M
@ ISU*
@ OSU
NU*

Anywhere from 1-7 to 5-3, they have a useless tie+ on ku and are - on us. If they win 3 out of their next 4 it sets up a huge game with NU depending on where we are in this spectrum.

Mizzou Remaining Schedule
@ CU*
Baylor
@ KSU
ISU*
ku in kc*

Anywhere from 1-7 to 4-4. It could do us a lot of good for Mizzou to beat CU and ISU. I don't think this team is that bad, and hopefully they can win a couple they shouldn't (hopefully not against us).

Before you flame my ass, let me just say, lots of this is my own personal feelings. I don't think we'll win at NU if we have to, that's just how I feel. Hopefully NU can lose to OU and either @ Baylor or @ ku, which would give it to us making the KSU @ NU game pointless (assuming we beat who we should).

Lots of people I'm hearing are saying "well if we go 2-0 at home and 0-2 on the road from here out we'll be north champs." It's really not that simple. NU is the only team that worries me because they have us at home and their remaining schedule isn't that bad. They play OU at home, which is a big game and you never know what will happen.

There's just so many ???'s right now in the big 12. Is NU that bad, or is ISU that good? Was CU/ku game a fluke or is CU actually good? I don't see any way ku can pull this off though, good news for us. Even if we don't go to Dallas, they won't either.

If we win at OU, it's not going to matter what other teams do, because that'll put us at 4-1 with two home games left.

If some of my games don't match up, I'm sorry, did this without really cross checking.

Yeah, I put most of the rivalries as swing games, esp that one since it's in Arrowhead.

if (when) we beat ku, they very well could be playing mizzou@arrowhead for bowl eligibility... not a gimme at all

ku loses Meyer, Reesing, and Briscoe will probably go pro.

This is their last shot at a national title.

Err...I mean Big XII North title.

I hope ku beats Nebraska at home. Would help us a lot.

They can lose every other game if they want tho.
