Title: ATTENTION: Regarding taking POT SHOTS at Players, Coaches, Admins.
Post by: mjrod on October 24, 2006, 07:41:45 PM
We are not Longhornfans.com.

We believe that players, coaches and admin want our scrutiny and criticisms.   They want to improve themselves for the sakes of the fans.   Therefore, they understand we, as fans, are going to help them understand their areas where they need improvement.

Such as being able to get over the goal line.

It's imperative that players understand, going over the goal line is a good thing.  Coaches need to teach it, players need to practice it, in the game, they need to do it.

Any questions?

Carry on.

Q: How do you keep a KSU player out of your front yard?

A:  Paint it like an endzone.

Did I say that?   You're being a little overzealous.

I am saying that I'm not going to admonish you if you take pot shots at the players, coaches, etc.

We're free thinkers here.

You mean like this one..

KSU Police were called to Bill Snyder Family Stadium about a strange white substance that appeared on the playing field.  Players and coaches were cleared from the field, and a HAZMAT team was brought in to analyze the substance.   After several minutes, HAZMAT team reported that they had indeed discovered the identity of the substance.  "It is the goal line."  KSU Players were told there was no threat and that they could safely cross it.   The QB and running backs though, were still skeptical.  "What if it's still there during gameday?"  Coach Prince later assured the media "We'll have a plan in place to deal with that on game day."

I think some group therapy for the team is needed:  The Endzone is your friend.

So THAT explains the endzone diving.  They are afraid of the goal line! :dive:
