The nine-game losing streak for Ball State University isn’t the first time coach Stan Parrish has encountered a long losing streak. As coach of Kansas State University in the 1980s, Parrish went winless in his final 27 games as head coach.
So what similarities do you see between the two long losing streaks, coach?
“I don’t remember,” Parrish said. “I really don’t. I have done a wonderful job of taking that situation and putting it in my rearview mirror. Probably overdone it, because I don’t remember some of the kids that call from time to time.”

If I ever meet Stan Parrish, I would:
Tell him I watched his "coached" teams in person when I was in school at K-State. Austin Peay was a delight to watch. Then simply tell him he sucks and his wife enjoys a fish hook every once and again.

Thought this time it was going to work out. :-[
I have a purple "Stan Fan" button around here somewhere...

lol, if Parrish doesn't win this weekend against hapless Eastern Michigan he may never win another game.

The most interesting part of that quote was the revelation that Bookie Pimp still calls him from time to time.

Bookie asked him for a job.
Parrish said "You're crazy."
Bookie said, "Wanna bet?"
