I'm not envious of a 9,000 seat basketball arena that doesn't even reach 1/3 of capacity. I'm not envious of Ken and Barbie smoking pot behind a dumpster in an alley by Folsom Field, either. I don't get the premise for this thread.

Don't take this the wrong way, but ISU is one of the ugliest person schools in the conference.  I can see why you haven't admitted that you are envious of cu yet.

Is Iowa that much better than Kansas that you aren't jealous of CU's amazing scenery and campus? Plus looking at all the beautiful people 24/7... Makes me wish I had moved with my parents to CO Springs and payed rent rather than living in Moo for free. In hindsight, I'm a complete idiot.

I just tried to find a single black person in this thread. None. No Hispanics, Chinese, Native Americans, etc... either. The red-head is the closest person of any ethnic variation. Surprised she passed the admissions board.

In looking at their enrollment statistics . . . CU is about 82% crackah, which ain't that much different than in the middle of Kansas, KSU.

Having friends who lived in Boulder for a number of years (recently moved) . . . they described the local feel as aryan liberal.

LOL @ Ben gloating about some mannish, handsome "ladies" in a thread about Boulder.  I saw that pic and was thinking, "Dudes, that's kind of mean, showing those chicks," and then I realized that Ben posted it.  Loffles.  Boulder is pretty awesome.  Pearl Street (or whatever) looks like it's probably kind of annoying, and I lament the lack of Craftsman (or otherwise not ass ugly, not log cabin, not trendy condo) homes in the area, but otherwise...wow.  Just beautiful.

uk just thinks they are a bunch of hippies. they're actually all jocos that had nothing better to do than go to commuter college and just space out for a few years and act all rebellious.

the hippies at UC-Boulder are the real deal. and don't discount hippies just because of their lifestyle or political views. they're very easy-going and fun to be around, especially the Colorado kind which are all about letting the good times roll.

I like Jalino's.  Used to be within walking distance.  Cosmos is also alright.  They don't have an equivalent of Shuttle, unless you count Blackjack, which is just as cheap but not open all night or quite as tasty.
