Title: Nebrasketball May Get $350 Million Arena To Play In

And the city will pay for all of it.  They are trying to follow Creighton's footsteps and play in a place the University doesn't even own.  I don't know what to think of that.  If they vote it down then they are immediately starting on a $20 million project to renovate the Devaney Center.

i bet they don't.

do nebrasketball fans hate buffett?  i bet they do.  must be real hard for them to see all the good tboone is doing while buffsey just sucks down another werthers and laughs at the nebrasketball follies.

Yeah, I think they really want to brag about how much money their famous alum has but know they will get destroyed by this talking point if they do.  Really great to bring up in conversation and watch them squirm around the topic.

if i ever see a nebrasketball fan (in real life) i will make a point of discussing buffett vis-a-vis donations to the nebrasketball program.  that is, unless i just punch them right in the face first.

It did for Nebraska fans.  They hate Nebrasketball.  Go to a Creighton game and you will see about 40 Eric Crouch jerseys.  Creighton fans probably have the lowest basketball IQ I have ever come across.  It's a clown convention at their games.
