My dad called me tonight to tell me my mom had taken a fall down the stairs.  Said she hurt her back pretty bad and would have quite a few bruises.  I could hear her talking on her cell in the background and I heard her laugh.  I said... "Well, she doesn't sound too bad i can hear her."  Dad said... "crap, she'll never be sore enough for her mouth to stop working."

My dad also has an uncanny ability to jam is foot miles down his throat at the perfect time.  I'd probably heard him use the term Jap Slap.... well... I don't think I'd ever heard him use it.  Well, we're at the hospital waiting room (my sister having a baby at the time) and dad says something about "Someone ought to jap slap that guy." Sure enough... not 10 feet from us sit a Japanese family.  As soon as the words leave his mouth we all look at them just as they look up to look at us.

I could probably make a tweet a day of "embarrassing or inappropriate crap my dad says/does"

I gave him crap for wearing a plain white FotL T-shirt to the gym all the time. I said.. "Dad why don't you wear a t-shirt with something on it once in a while?"  He said... "Last night I'm pretty sure the t-shirt I wore had yesterday's lunch on it."
