LJW and KWCH are reporting that Brady Morningstar was arrested on suspicion of DWI.
From KWCH: Website for Douglas County Jail confirms a Brady Morningstar booked into jail at 3:42am Saturday morning.

That entire program is imploding before our very eyes.

Hell no. These are the happenings of a true CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM!

My barber told me he was going to get away with it until he asked for officer Hernandez' green card.
Overall feeling about this: :WeirdRobert:

Somewhere Hoax is saying that I am  that this "brings down their athletic department".
-
Man how long before Sports Illustrated puts out a cover saying "Why the University of Kansas should drop Basketball." Just like they did in 95 for Miami's football team due to all of the cheating, and thugs that were going through that program. The comparisons are eerily similar. Call me crazy, but I think it just might happen.
-
bad news: appears to have got a dui
good news: he's almost thirty so he didn't have to worry about mip.
-
Looks like the talk Lew had with all of the players is working.

this is great for tyler reed and other whitey scrubs who want a chance at pt this season.
instead of having 7 guards better than any guard on the ksu roster they only have 6 now.
must suck to be that deep and awesome huh?

I was wondering that also.

brady got jealous of all the muggin going on and wanted some action of his.
seff is probably elated this happened, too.
-
Apparently someone in the hoops mafia voluntarily severed the puppet strings normally attached to the Lawrence PD...to make an example of the most expendable semi-decent player on the team. Well-played.
-
The field sobriety test should be available if the dash cam was rolling...

Kansas Highway Patrol stop. Explains a lot.

Dude only had to do 2 things with this post:
1) Utilize the quote function.
2) Spell the word "hypocrite."
Not surprisingly, he was unable to do either correctly.

If there were fun things to do in Lowrents this never woulda happened. LPD/mall cops woulda let him go.

I wonder what football players life was saved from the drive by :Driving: (ftp://:Driving:)that was certainly coming. Did the paper mention what concealed arms were found? Pretty sickening stuff here folks.

We'd totally be winning the Fulmer cup if NCAACBB presented by Lowe's had such a thing. The true sign of a championship program :skillz: :cyclist:

Will Spradling is our sober, less stupid, less racist, version of Brady Morningstar.
-
While being transported to jail, Morningstar stated he “does not do jail, this is not me,” the trooper said, and asked the trooper if he “could make this go away.”
pffft...

In Iowa... theres a song that floats around after a Hawkeye loss to a 'should-be win' opponent. It's called Hawkeye Meltdown because, as you know.... Iowa is either a National Championship contender, or Kirk Ferentz is the worst coach ever... no in-between. Unfortunately, I can't find it right now, so just use your imagination...
The main part of the song goes, "Another Hawkeye Meltdown..." to the beat of Rhinestone Cowboy.
I'm already expecting Cyclone Meltdown comments in response to this, but after a while we have just become numb to it so Hawk reactions are still funnier to see when their team melts down. Seeing a fanbase going from wanting to immortalize their coach as the greatest ever, to wanting him out of Iowa City after one loss is must see on sportstalk radio, tv, and just around the state.
Hope you can apply this to Kansas and get a good chuckle out of it.
Later K-Staters.

I'm with you dynomitehawk. The LJWorld is on a mission to tarnish the reputation of ku athletics. Clearly Brady was in the wrong, but our local media needs to let it go.
lol that makes no sense at all. God im glad we are up river.

love how all the comments say something similar to "he's a kid. kid makes mistakes. i'm sure he'll learn and grow from it."
he's twenty three. most people who attend college have already graduated and obtained jobs by that age. what a loser.
-
no doubt. at least if he gets suspended at age 23 he will still have another year to play since he's only a 23 yr old junior kid.
-
morningstar must be a morman to be a 23 yr old college junior. anyone know where he went for his mission?

Kind of sad to see the influence that guys like Bill Self and Doug Compton have on these kids.
Sorry, Brady, in the real world outside of Kansas basketball, problems "just don't go away".
Tough life lesson. But, every ku player learns it at some point after they leave the sheletered wing of the overseer.

things are different on the plantation. Brady is used to being in charge, being absolved of any responsibility... speaking of responsibility, that's what the field "players" are for.
