Is he seriously complaining about not starting? He is lucky that he got another chance in the NFL.

I'm sure it didn't come out the way he meant it. I'm sure he thought he'd be playing for the Lions and starting because he's all they've got. At least I hope that's what he meant.

Vick is slowly starting to get back to the way we all used to remember him before this whole dogfighting thing happened. Once a thug always a thug and this man is the true definition of it.

He said this week that he, and I quote, is "superman."
Looks like this guy didn't learn a damn thing while in the big house... :shy:

The guy will fail. He's been away from the game for a few years, and in that business it's an eternity.

Not sure how much a couple of years off will effect him. Seems like there have been numerous dudes that had washed out of football for awhile before resurfacing and later making an impact. The ex-Viking rb Scottie Graham sticks out in my mind. That dude was working in a pharmacy or something like that. Wasn't kurt Warner stocking grocery before the Rams picked him up?

The fact of the matter is this.....
His contract in Philadelphia is for one year with an option for a second. If he plays well at quarterback this year, some struggling franchise is going to trade something good to Philadelphia to get him and he'll be a starter next season.
As far as his comments are concerned, of course they don't sound good to the people who want him to fail. To people with an open mind he sounds like an athlete that has alot of confidence in himself. To alot of people that comes off as arrogance but it's not.
