Just like KSU they're close to turning the corner but then they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The franchise, just like KSU, is in good hands.

They piss me off even more than KSU. I've never seen such a horrible offense performance win the game. F*ck you defense.

How do you figure? We are right back to where we were last year. In position to win games in the 4th quarter and end up choking.

You gotta crawl before you can walk. You gotta walk before you can run. You gotta run before you can win. I said I was encouraged on both ends. I never said I was satisfied.

If we don't beat the Giants at home on October 4 we're not gonna win until we go to Washington on October 18.

Philly looked like crap too today so it kind of depends on who they play at QB next week.

We're pretty good against the NFC at home so I had to decide which we are more likely to beat, the Giants or the Cowboys, and I went with the Giants because they're so beat up.

:dunno:

LMFAO!!  You guys can't beat the Raiders at home and you think you have a chance against the Giants or the Cowboys?  These threads are gold for  :powertard: (Arrowtard?) comments.

The Raiders are a better team than people realize. I've got them sneaking into the playoffs, which might be a little crazy, but still we had that game won.

The fact that you guys were leading even for a little bit makes it so ridiculous to have the Raiders in the playoffs.  You are both horrible. . .just completely horrible at playing American football (might be good as soccer).

Are there any good offensive lineman in next year's draft that we should be keeping our eyes on?

No, the coach sucked out any faith anybody ever had in the Broncos.

No one said they'd be a playoff team, but the delusional Chiefs fans are the only ones who really thought they were better than Denver this year.

Whitlock throttles (http://www.kansascity.com/sports/columnists/jason_whitlock/story/1458219.html)  the Chiefs organization...

Quote
Many of you don’t understand why the tone of my columns about the Chiefs has been so negative after I initially campaigned for Scott Pioli’s hiring and identified Haley as Pioli’s likely head coach.

The amount of arrogance from Pioli directed toward the media and the unwarranted, know-it-all arrogance Haley directs toward his players make King Carl Peterson look as humble and down-to-earth as Lamar Hunt.

The arrogance is toxic and counterproductive to winning. It’s not confidence. It’s a couple of blowhards drunk on their newfound power.

Hey Jason, Want some Salsa with that chip on your shoulder??

Maybe a little w/ Haley.  I don't mind a coach getting into his players faces when they &@#% up. However, I think you need to win some games before you start doing it publicly.  Haley can do it in practice all he wants.  However, being a first year coach, losing to the terrible Raiders at home, I don't really care to see Todd yanking on Cassel's face mask after he calls an unplanned time out.  You gotta become Bill Parcells before you starting acting like him.

More Whitlock hating (http://http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/10119548/NFL-Truths:-Brady-will-always-hear-the-footsteps) Pioli

We're not throwing any pity parties in Kansas City. If you acquire information by providing back massages to ego-bloated general managers, I'm politely asking you to find another city. I like and respect the overwhelming majority of the men and women covering the NFL -- particularly King, Schefter and Florio -- but I can't tolerate anyone interfering with how I run my corners in Kansas City.

WTF does that mean??

Don't let Whitlock bring you down. He has to have something to talk about and it's too easy to make fun of the Royals so he wants to rip on the Chiefs who are in what week 3 of a rebuilding season. Let him rant on.

It's not a rebuilding year if it's 3 years long (so far, no end in sight)

Surely you are being a smart ass.  New management/coach this year is starting over...doesn't count as part of the old regime's "plan"

The schedule makers are doing us no favors with New York and Dallas coming up. The good news is that they're both at home and we tend to be pretty decent against the NFC at Arrowhead

The Dolphins are 0-3 and have the Jets and Saints as two of their next three opponents. This could be a really good draft pick.
