We had several good/great FBs in a row in the 90s. Mann was  certainly one of them.

VM was ok.  I think his potential was under used my old balls.  He had good hands for his size and should have gotten a couple more touches.

He was a good player but I wouldn't call him great.  Played on a couple of bad teams his last two seasons.   Was one of the few bright spots on the 2005 team.  He was a typical Snyder player that just got a little better every year and was pretty damn good by the time he left.  Have not seen that happening with players recently hopefully we get back to that kind of development.

Ran well against NUin 2005 and had a huge td (20 yard run whe trailing 28-14 against MU in the Coach Snyder Part I finale) as part of 22 point rally. Very nice human, typical Bill Snyder player.

shot a few cool ones with big vic back in the day at the sc nut fry. a truly enjoyable time by all.

was walking into a bball game a year or two ago w/ a guy who needed two tickets. we were holding up two fingers and up walks victor mann. says he has two tickets. we ask how much. he says "don't worry about it, they're free" and continues walking into the game. can't get much more emaw than that.

these are the kind of stories that speak to the quality of human the big vic is. great stuff.
