OMFG THE PARKING GARAGE IS AMAZING!
-
Agreed, would like a report on fellow students who have parked there on its toughness to find a spot.
Too lazy to actually check for myself.
-
So amazing, in fact, that it isn't even done yet. 8-)

Iknowrite! Drove by the front of the union checking out the work. like this->
-
My mother reported it is VERY expensive to park there. PRetty sure that means elites like myself will park there when I go to KSU.
-
stopped by the bp after the game for a postgame refreshment and didn't even think to look

Wait until they actually have it all completed (walk way to Union from each level)...

Don't you guys know the rule of thumb for construction in Manhattan?
Projected time X 3 + 1 year.
The Anderson Ave reconstruction
The Baseball Stadium
etc.
The only one I ever saw get done on time was the stadium expansion (thank God).

Yeah i have noticed construction in Manhattan is like molasses relative to everywhere else. Pretty accurate equation, btw.

Saw it this weekend and it was a little too much stone work for my taste. I think it detracts from Nichols a little bit. Plus they just made this thing so people could pay through the nose to park there? How about a &@#%ing bus system.

Manhattan parking is pretty elite already compared to most other universities of comparable size. A bus system around our campus would be pretty pointless imo.
-
Don't hate on the parking garage. It's even got one of those elite "status" signs that shows which parts are filled. Very airport-y.

Very airport-y.
Was going to mention this as well. Very hi-tech and inline with our new AA status.

yeah, would be a better idea for the asians to open up a rickshaw business, jimho.

Who are the fat lazy people needing a bus system? Back in my day we used to walk to class up hill both ways in the snow. What a bunch of FP's.
I never needed to park, always had elite apartment very close to campus.

On football games, we'd leave campus and start the walk to the stadium. As the cooler became lighter, we'd start looking for a place to stow it for the game. Any remaining contents went into pockets or were carried. On most occasions, we'd remember where we left the cooler, but I still think I'm down 3-4 coolers from my college years.
