Kansas State struck gold at Pompano Beach, Fla., Ely last season with the signing of defensive back Joshua Moore, and the Wildcats hope they've done the same this year with the commitment of Ely product Darnez Tigner, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound safety prospect who's still in the relatively early stages of his football development.
He picked the Cats over Colorado and, how ironic is this, Florida International.

Awesome pick up.
Could be a wide receiver opposite of VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV.
I will take ANYONE from Florida.
-
i like this pickup. you know he's got to be ridiculously athletic to have 2 big 12 offers* playing one year of ball.
*i realize it's just ksu and cu.

we need more size on our team and this helps. MOST of the kids offered played prior to this season because recruiting for 2007 kids started a year, two years ago...this kid must look the part and have the athleticism, etc. and also show some skills that demonstrate he could be something at some point.
Kids like this appear from nowhere all of the time...in the 2004 class Aqib Talib did not appear in the database until December and I think ku had to beat out Baylor and Wyoming for him. We see how that turned out.
Plus, it never hurts to start a pipleine...tons of D-1 talent coming out of Blanche Ely over the years.

I like this player !!!!!!!
More Florida players please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hookem:

:hope:

Because of my love for florida and Josh Moore, I had previously looked up his school for other players and saw Nicholls, but discounted him because of the big timers after him, but now with Tigner...
hmmm...

Not to mention LSU and Florida had interest, however, they are able to wait longer on players than we are. But the fact those two schools had interest is a good sign.
i like this signing too
