Not michigancat, but I'll give a thumbs up to the Jayhawks (band). They just came out with a retrospective album that could be a good place to start. There are two different version of it, though, a 1-disk and a 2-disk. 1-disk is prob. the way to go unless you're already a Jayhawks fan, because the 1st disk is more of a greatest hits and the 2nd disk is unreleased, alternative versions, etc.

Hannah Montana? She does pole dancing now, not sure if I'm allowed to like that. Please advise.

Rusty, who is more gay in real life, the Decemberists or the Pet Shop Boys? I say the Decemberists because of the nasally whine, but would like your take.

(mi)Rusty is more of a hip hopper.

RD, really like the musical Jayhawks. They aren't spectacular IMO, but they're very solid.

who do you think was the best out of mc hammer, vanilla ice and tone loc? follow up question... which song is your favorite from aforementioned "best".
i'm going with mc hammer and "turn this mother out" fwiw. love it when they do the "yo hammer! they say you ain't hitting in new york!"

Saw the Jayhawks when they opened for the Black Crowes in Salina in '93. Opened their set with "We're the Jayhawks, and I guess you are too."
Hated them ever since.
