Title: Track and Field
Post by: powercatmiller on August 21, 2009, 10:07:01 PM
Is there a better high school sport?

1. Coed
2. You do like 4 events that equal 30 minutes and are there for 4 hours with girls.
3. Most of the time you get out of school at noon
4. Coed

Really just an after school activity for people who aren't athletic enough to play any spring sports.

More like the ultimate sport.  Decathletes are some of the best athletes IMO.  I.E. Steve Fritz.

yeahhh, its not even close. Bryan Clay (Oly Gold Medalist) scored 130 on his Nike Sparq rating (highest ever)... Ladanian scored 98 and Champ Bailey scored 101! hahaha

If any of you have ever seen Wildkitty assistant coach Tom Pappas, he is the biggest freak athlete you have ever seen, period! The man is 33 yrs old 6'4 220 and just ran 10.84 (100 meters) 25ft. (Long Jump) 54ft. (Shot Put) 6'9"1/4 (High Jump) 49.49 (400 meters) 14.19 (110m. High Hurdles) 169ft (Discus) 16'6" (Pole Vault) 200ft (Javelin) 5:00 flat (1500 meters)

...he once jumped 7'3" (High Jump), 17' (Pole Vault), 26' (Long Jump) in the same meet!!! Fracking baller!

Absolutely, the NFL and NBA have "real deal"ers... Bo Jackson being the most freakish... but Track and Field is where the ultimate display of various forms of physiological eliteness is the purest.

meh, not that impressed.  What is the purpose of doing any of that if nobody has ever heard of you.  He should have practiced harder at catching passes or something and then he could have been in sports.
