Florida State. Much of my mom's side of the fam went there. Have basically been a fan my entire life, and used to keep up to date on all things FSU. Love their game traditions . Wish the Chiefs would adopt some of them. Tried to go to school there but out of state was gonna be way too much.

Have to agree w/ SD. You should have a little bit of state pride and root for ku whenever they aren't playing us. We have to rise above our petty differences and keep in mind a bigger picture. The other 49 states all have greater respect for us when there are two good teams from little ol' Kansas. I'm just positive that most ku fans have a little closet EMAW in them, but are just a little scared to admit it sometimes.
Interesting statistic: In 1995, both ku and K-State finished the season with a top-10 ranked football team. The population of Kansas (per the 2000 census) is 2,688,418 people which ranks 32nd of the 50 states. That is a per-capita rate of one top-ten finish for every 1,344,209 people which to my knowledge is an all-time record. No state with a population less than 1,344,209 has ever had a top-10 finishing team (Idaho, Maine, New Hampshire, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, North Dakota, Alaska, Vermont, Wyoming), and any state with three top-10 finishing teams is way bigger than 4,032,627. So the way to look at it is that the state of Kansas is the all-time winner because our two schools teamed up that year to make history......
