For students like Pat Short, senior in architectural engineering and outgoing president of Marlatt Hall, living within the hall is no longer a considerable option.

Short said the switch to co-ed and the way it was handled was why some upset residents will not be moving back in.

“There were several people who were disappointed with the change,” Short said. “The situation was not handled very well at all.”

Short said K-State Housing and Dining Services proposed the change but didn’t really accept any input from students.

“Being a senior male with all freshmen girls moving in didn’t seem too particularly attractive,” Short said.

I too lived there 3 years ago. I can't believe people are bitching about freshman girls moving in.
