The official line to cutoff the truly elite sports schools from the wannabe's is drawn directly under these 15.  How's the weather down there losers?

+1 on the chickens.  We've got a small window here.  PETA will be focused on canvasing Philly for the better part of '09-10.  No better time to parade some half dead farm stock on national television.

Who does Frank need to contact about getting Tony Mitchell's mom courtside seats?  Krause?  Ronnie Chalmers?

chicken people, start planning now.  get a couple young birds and put them in training.  take them uptop a hill and throw them down 2-3 times/day so they know what they're doing on gameday.  you can't just pull a used up hen out of a cage the day before the game and expect it to perform like a champion.

Yeah, that must be it.  In reality it is perfectly understandable why we do not have a gameday:  Who wants to watch ku paste some team by 35 other than us ku fans?  The game has a better chance of being close away from Allen, and they know this.

I hope the AD takes steps to upgrade various aspects of Bramlage before pasting marketing our University on national television.

1.  Need slightly inclined risers behind the goals.  Put students down there.  Increase capacity by 500-1000.

2.  Get rid of huge grey tarp behind the south basket.  There MUST be a way to put temporary bleacher seats in that void.  Simply put, it looks like garbage.

3.  Get rid of Briggs Auto decals on the court.  I'm afraid I may do something irrational if those are present for Gameday, let alone any other game.

Someone needs to sled down them during the Gameday broadcast in the morning. Set up a ramp at the end of the stairs so the person disastrously launches themselves high into the air and crashes in a heap onto the court while the show is live.

Preferably the sledder will fly over the set ala Willy the Whale in that movie about his freedom.

Knock them out. Then instead of using real chickens to throw out onto the court, we'll just use them.

So, d00ds, should we form some sort of Fab 15 message board for only  fans of the elite Fab 15 programs that have hosted a football and basketball Gameday.  Like, as a place for only elite program fans to hang out without having to deal with the riff raff of small timey program fans?  :dunno:

I've spoken to my bros at the University of Florida and some at LSU and they are for it.  btw, My Florida friend Scott says, "Welcome to the group guys!  We knew you'd be the next to join!"

Given that we are now scheduled for Gameday, I would like to ask the student section to please refrain from selling your student tickets to ku fans/students.  I hate seeing blue speckled in the student section, and would really hate seeing it on national television.  Besides, if Gameday wanted to see blue, they would have picked Lawrence as a site.   ;)

Any one of you heroes with a Wikipedia login or that know of any EMAW-ers who do, need the following brought to your attention immediately. We have to stop this kind of misinformation at its root,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_GameDay_%28football%29 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_GameDay_%28football%29)

Including the 2008-2009 basketball season, only 14 schools  (Boston College, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Texas, UCLA, and Wisconsin) have hosted College GameDay for both basketball and football events.

Yeah, I got an email this morning from BC saying that USC completely lost it last night. Said that upon hearing the news USC got a bottle of whisk and went driving for a while up in the mountains. Came back around 11pm or so and just beat the sh1t out of UC Santa Clara who was just sitting at home watching tv. Apparently she got it pretty good.

BC said USC didn't show up to work today and when he called it went straight to voicemail.

Sore winners/losers.  I mean, you can tell they are happy to be associated with us as part of the Elite 15 because it makes their beatings at our hands that much easier to explain.  I mean, there's no shame in going down to another member of the E15, no shame.

Some people think that there is a clandestine meeting of the E15 every year in a heavily-fortified, undisclosed site somewhere in the US.

Apparently, the E15 decided last year to manipulate the global economic crisis for selfish interests, agreed on a time table for the trans-continental highway and determined to keep Utah out of the national championship game even if they went undefeated.

Don't know but word around happy hours bars on the East Coast is that the E15 met recently in a hotel outside of Washington. According to my source, in the coming weeks the E15 are sending some of their member teams to China to play in exhibition games. The NCAA (who are basically indistinguishable from the E15) is said to announce this to the public here soon.

My source went on to say that Eastern China - including the provinces of  Jiangsu and Shandong have been designated as an EMAW zone. Look for EMAW merchandise and gear to start popping up here as the E15's influence takes hold.

This def. gives creedence to Daris' rumor the the E15 is starting their own conference. With this genius move to 16 teams, the new conference will now have a nice even number.

But was the game in Lawrence? No, so you ku is not in the elite club.

take it easy on 'em.  not rly their fault

hard to get all the FB gameday crew and equipment to hick town-flyover-warmup the tractor-Douglas County.

So, when's the banner going up?

Also, quick question: Is this the greatest accomplishment in KSU BB history? Or was it the one time you beat ku at home? Or that magical run the Round of 32?

Thanks in advance.

Well if you ask KSUBB, he'll probably tell you that his best accomplishment happened at the after party for the E15 gala in New York City when he totally hooked up with Megan Fox.  :woot:

Ha Ha.  Hey Wildcats..you are going to have to get used to this now.  When we got to host the basketball Gameday after hosting football Gameday Louisiana Lafayette and Monroe fans were posting this stuff on our boards as well.  It goes with the territory.  Did the ku fans post stuff like this before you joined the elites?  If so you are probably used to opposing fan basses obsessing over you, LMAO.  Anyway, Go Tigers and Go new E15 member Wildcats.

Gentlemen, congratulations.  I want to tell you how much we are looking forward to this.  Kansas State has a reputation of having some of the most enthusiastic fans in the country.  Just thinking about you guys storming the court with Michael Beasley and Bill Walker gives me chills.  I will be back to talk with you before we come to town and look forward to meeting you all in Manhattan.  Check out my blog until then.

I'm always amazed at how history changes through the years.  The quarters that I... excuse me... that random people threw, have now become heated pennies.  Also, I ... I mean they, didn't throw those quarters.  We (I mean they) shot them with wrist rockets.

You guys remember how much security was in MHK that day? Everywhere I looked it was another tinted out Lincoln carrying an important delegate of the E15 council.

I remember walking into Calvin and having a security guard check my backpack. While he was wanding me I saw the E15 crest on the inside of his black sport coat. I smiled slightly to myself, air under my feet on the way to class.
