Darious Thomas.

2* ???

Actually, in the short-term, I'm more excited about getting Darious Thomas than I would have been to get Robert Thomas. We need depth and talent and cornerback (we're an injury to Joshua Moore away from likely being very weak at that position) and he may be able to provide that. The fact that Iowa and Wisconsin both offered him is a good sign.

Yeah, I think 3 BCS offers trumps a 2* rating.

We are already very weak at that position.

Josh Moore was a two star. :users:
-
oh no, he's a 2 star! :ohno:
He was offered by Ferentz, Bielema, and Snyder. Those offers from Bielema and Ferentz were not January offers either. He visited both in the fall w/ offers. The kid was playing safety @ Dallas Lincoln as a junior. He was a corner for one season at Cedar Hill.
-
I have it on excellent authority that this kid "really wants to be here" (<--that was a direct quote).
Good sign, IMO.

You just summarized why so many people are optimistic about the future of ku football. Lots of talent coming in from Texas with big-time offers.

You're quickly becoming a sad caricature of your former self. Coming over here and hijacking every single thread (Even the one's that have absolutely nothing to do with uk.) doesn't exactly scream "I'm a fan of a big time program." You see OU or UT fans over here acting in that manner? Yeah, we get Nubb fans like that all the time, but you certainly don't want to be associated with that sad lot, do you? You're like the middle child that has to act up in school so his parents will finally pay attention to him at home. Come on Ben, you're better than that.

Rumblings that David Garrett is also with the team. Not sure how that works, as he is a class of 2010 kid, having only played one season of juco. (2008) He did have 70 tackles and a couple picks for Fort Scott last year. Looks like he had offers from Indiana, Iowa, Pittsburgh, Bowling Green, Kent St. and Toledo out of high school. (He's from Ohio.)

Maybe we are starting to hear about those 15 or so pledges that Snyder was talking about on media days...

I assumed he was speaking about pledges for next year. Apparently, this kid is with the team currently.
