This is some SERIOUS wildcat history....definitely a rare find. I got this off of a tape of the 1986 KSU/ku game mailed to me by wildcatlwc. Its a documentary that Raycom broadcast during halftime. Any college football buff will cream jeans over this bad boy. Enjoy, bitches.

46-0 must have been all the scoreboard talk back then.

I think making ron 4 and 5 is pretty accurate.

Check out the video at 4:32. The goal posts don't match. The south endzone one looks twice as wide as the north endzone.

Has no one found the subliminal message?

Has no one found the subliminal message?
I haven't watched yet. Is it Gary Coleman?
-
Good guess!
-

I thought the usernames gave that one away, but maybe not.
Come on, FFF. You're just mad that someone's jacking your youtube steez.

....and that so many of us are jacking our dongs to a new steeze.
UYD for life.

Seatbelts.

Has no one found the subliminal message?
"I like children."
"For breakfast?"

He was joking.

Those goal posts are hilariously teensy.

No no. It's a pretty big difference. Vantage point doesn't account for a difference like that.

Yeah, they probably were twice as big -- Stan Parrish was a pretty crafty coach like that.
In any event, I think those goal posts were only in place for another hour or so before the students tore them down. Then they burned Aggieville to the ground, too.

We most certainly did not burn the Ville to the ground. Just turned over a few cars, lit some on fire, broke liquor store windows, threw beer bottles at the RCPD, then ran like hell when the riot squads showed up. :ksu:

Is some fool seriously trying to argue that the goalposts were two different sizes? As if goalpost width isn't completely standard for college football and mandated by the NCAA? "Totally, there used to be this basketball goal at Hilton Coliseum in the 70s that was 12 feet high."

Que up the video to 4:32 and tell me those goalposts are the same size...

If the endzone letters are roughly the same width on both sides, then the field goals look pretty similar.
-
Dude. They're the same width. The reason you probably see such a difference is because the uprights are so short and stubby compared to the tall ones you're used to now.
Wanna know how I know for sure, besides just using common sense? Look at where all four of the uprights are in relation to the hash marks. Same. Riddle solved. If you still doubt it, we can find an architecture student to do a perspectives rendering to prove it. Same.
Same.
-
You win. After looking at the hash marks, they do look alike.
-
8-)
-
They "were" the same size. Trust me.
-
This all assumes the hashmarks were painted correctly.

:blindfold:
