I guess I didn't realize that Beasley was a "brute strength type of player."  Learn something new every day.

a rather unimpressive article.  So 240lbs isn't big enough to bang and get some boards?  I'm not saying he'll be a great rebounder but pointing out the comparison I made to Tyrus Thomas and Hakim Warrick, who both avgd. 9 rebounds per game at 215lbs in college...how big does he need to be?  I guess the writer opined that every power forward is 250-260lb beasts in the college game? 

Besides...rebounding is about instincts, positioning, and hustling moreso than size.

I always thought of the Beas as more of a skill and finesse type of player.  I don't really remember him doing much banging for his rebounds, seems like he was more about timing jumps and taking the proper angles to the ball.
