KSU gives up 4.5 ypp, while our opponets avergage 5.4 ypp.
NU gives up 5.1 ypp, while their opponents average 5.0 ypp.
Couple this with playing at home, and I see NU struggling to score.

Our offense is #4 in all the land (total), and our QB is #3 in pass efficiency. Our rushing game is #8 in the country.

Add to that...the "great" Nebraska rushing offense gained 116 yards and 3.6 ypc vs. the 2006 steel curtain wall known as the Kansas University fighting Jayhawk defense. Oh, vs. USC? A cool 68 yards on 1.8 per rush.
NU has inflated rushig #'s vs. Troy, Nicholls...well, you get the point.
Forget talking Iowa State rushing totals...the week before Big Red came to town the clones gave up 200 yards rushing to Northern Iowa.
NU's running backs are VERY good and they are deep BUT their OL is not even in the same galaxy as the Louisville OL we saw earlier in the year and I don't think their OL is as good as an Oklahoma State OL that has more experience too.

OSU had the big, experienced OL. And Reid was that X-Factor..he was only an extra 6-3 230lb RB each time they went QB option. Not to mention their WR are monsters blocking on the wings...6-1 210 Woods and 6-4 220 Bowman.

Another interesting stat I'd like to know:
Of teams that play back to back games on the road in the Big 12, what is the record of teams in the second game?
It's asking an awful lot for a team to get B to B wins on the road.
Anybody feel like compiling that info?

I don't remember... how did Taylor do against USC? I mean... #3 pass efficiency "in ALL THE LAND" he must have racked up over 200 yards and a couple TD's...... right.... :popcorn:
