Jan 18th in the OOD. Kinda pity them.

LMAO. What sucks is they'll try to claim it as our superbowl.
-
Hopefully ksu-ksu in 'tan.
LMAO at ku getting on Big Monday four times. Such a garbage school to put on nat'l tv.
-
ksu-ku could easily be the gameday game.
Kind of looking that way isn't it? I never understood why 84-75 wasn't on ESPN or ABC. Of course Phillip's 66 coverage knabbed the game but after Beasley's guarantee of winning the game I'm surprised ABC/ESPN didn't make a move for it...

This means that the Big Monday game against UT will probably be the K-State Proud game, and we are 0-3 in K-State games. :curse:
-
1 &@#%ing big monday! unbelievable. what a slap in the face.
i imagine martin and currie will be raising hell with epsn and the conference unless ksu is compensated with some other prime slots elsewhere in the schedule.

what else? I mean, if ku is the gameday thing, we shouldn't say a word. i guess it can be gameday in lawrence, which would kind of suck.

sys, who do you think gets the saturday night gameday think? I think it's pretty obvious it will be ksu involved.
possibilities
ku@KSU
KSU@ku
ku@MU
UT@OU
UT@aTm
aTm@UT
????
Remember, one of those games (maybe two) will make the "CBS" national slot. I really think the KSU-ku game will be gameday. Unfortunately, it will probably be in Lawrence because ESPN is dumbo.
-
I think it's been like 4 years since a Big Monday didn't contain ku, UT, or an OSU/OU game.

Texas Tech - OSU? Honestly, i think it's been longer than that.
-
ksu-ou should get a good slot. ksu-a&m would be another prime game. and mu sortaish.
espn should push a&m-baylor more. those are always fantastic games. probably the most emotional rivalry in the conf., because the coaches (and hence players) actually hate each other more than the fans do.

i'm guessing ksu-am, ksu-ou would be espn mid week games.
but you're right about bu-atm. some of these big monday games are just stale, imo. ut-ou is ridiculously overrated.

This is prolly good for our chances for Gameday, ESPN usually has one big matchup from each conference and with the Big Monday schedule the number of good matchups left is limited
Kansas @ Kansas State
Kansas State @ Kansas
Texas @ Texas A&M
Oklahoma @ Oklahoma State
Texas A&M @ Oklahoma
Texas @ Oklahoma
etc.
Since Texas hosted last year i don't see it happening again, also OU has four Big Monday games and since they're not as established as the other contenders i don't see them hosting either. The game will prolly involve one of the two major contenders Texas and ku.
