Yeah but seems pretty cheap. Is it going to bust when I have 350Gig of music on it deleting all my crap?

Pretty much...just have to decide if you want a portable USB hard drive, powered by USB. Or a external that has a seperate power adapter. Portable USB ones are more expensive FWIW.

Not at all.  Less important on external drives, but internal drives you have to watch out for many things.
