damn, it was ridiculous how grcoaty the grcoat era was

Quote
It was a classic power struggle, and Young was set to bolt for Kansas State after his sophomore season. But when coach Bob Huggins left Kansas State for West Virginia, Dixon intervened and convinced Young to stay. It was time for him to take on a larger role, words he had been yearning to hear.

Plus we were close to getting DeJuan Blair to commit as well.

WOW!!! What could have been if we could have gotten Young and Blair!!!

07-08 ROSTER
Sr Blake Young
Sr Clent Stewart
Sr David Hoskins (if healthy)
Jr Darren Kent
Jr Andre Gilbert
Jr Denis Clemente (transfer sit-out year)
Jr Sam Young (transfer sit-out year)
So Luis Colon
Fr Bill Walker
Fr Dominique Sutton
Fr Jamar Samuels (redshirt year)
Fr Jacob Pullen
Fr Fred Brown
Fr Michael Beasley
Fr Ron Anderson
Fr DeJuan Blair
- That's 16 spots. We probably wouldnt have taken Gilbert, Anderson, and someone else (Jamar or Brown).

08-09 ROSTER
Sr Darren Kent
Jr Denis Clemente
Jr Sam Young
Jr Luis Colon
Jr Buchi Awaji
Jr Curtis Kelly (transfer sit-out year)
So Dominique Sutton
So Jacob Pullen
So Fred Brown
So Ron Anderson
So DeJuan Blair
RFr Jamar Samuels
- That's 12 spots right there. We were only allowed to have 12 on scholarship that year any way because Bennett left in bad academic standing.

09-10 ROSTER
Sr Denis Clemente
Sr Sam Young (if he doesnt enter the draft)
Sr Luis Colon
Jr Curtis Kelly
Jr Dominique Sutton
Jr Jacob Pullen
Jr DeJuan Blair (if he doesnt enter the draft)
So Jamar Samuels
Fr Nick Russell
Fr Rodney McGruder
Fr Wally Judge
Fr Martavious Irving
Fr Jordan Henriquez
- That's 13 spots right there. Very stacked lineup!

No one, and I mean NO ONE, has ever even mentioned UMKC and Harvard in the same breath.  Even by accident.

Berkeley and Northwestern would-be debate all-stars are too busy being courted by Fortune 500 companies offering six-figure salaries, bro.  Regardless, I suggest that a banner be fashioned of crimson and blue pleather and surrounded by moderately sized plasma televisions.

Man, that would have been great to watch Pitt fans cry over the loss of Young had he gone to K-State.  I would have totally rubbed it hard in the face of my Pitt buddies.  Oh what could have been.

Impressive.  I don't think it can be disputed that ku is the "Harvard of the counties abutting the greater Kansas City metro area."

The bracket shows that Team Kansas BJ did in fact win the national tournament, despite having been beaten 3-0 by a Northwestern earlier in the season.  (They managed to elude Northwestern in the national tournament.)  How is it that every thing good uk does has to be not only sketchy, but gay as well?  Kansas BJ?  AYFKM?
