NASHVILLE (WATE) -- According to a report posted Saturday afternoon on newschannel5.com, former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair was shot and killed in downtown Nashville.

According to the report, the incident happened at 2nd South & Lea Ave. Police said it looked like a double homicide. A female victim was also found dead.

He was the first Heisman Trophy finalist that I can remember saying "Who?" about when they would do features about him on College Gameday. He was also involved in two of the most memorable NFL events (The Music City Miracle and Super Bowl XXXIV) that I can remember. Of course he was on the sideline when the Music City Miracle took place.
