I would imagine numbing your brain and senses would do that, the same way alchoholics cure their hangovers by drinking more. Either way, its not really a solution.

Nope... believe it or not, the best cure for severe dehydration is.... wait for it.... water. Who knew?

As for Gatorade, It has electrolytes. It's what hangover's crave.
