Not basketball related...1996 Atlanta Olympic games.  We sat in the sixth row behind the flag poles used for the medal ceremonies.  Steve Fritz is in third place in the decathlon going into the final event, even though I screamed all the way through the race Steve finishes 20 freaking points out of the medals.  Dan O'Brien wins gold and gets Steve and Chris Huffins to join in his victory lap.  Dan and Chris are drapped in the Stars and Stripes, while Steve pulls out the Powercat for all the world to enjoy.  I'm taking video as they make their way past us when the National Anthem starts; Steve and Dan stop, face right towards us and are singing together.  Steve's eyes are filled with emotion.
Awesome EMAW moment.

Well, I am having a bad eye day so there are probably some typos in here, so I will sign off. For example, my vision is so badsome days that one time I swear I typed 'Snyder' and some other coach's name got into a headline. :-)

Kind of disappointed there hasn't been any parody "A note from ______" threads yet.

Same.  Was at work and began hugging coworkers and throwing office supplies about like a raving lunatic.  Generally just caused mass chaos in the workplace.

FFF -- sadly, we lost the game in pic #1 after the big lead and Mizzou being without several starters.  That 15-point lead was the high point on the line graph of the season.  I seriously thought we might win the Big 12 until we blew that game.

A parallel feeling, and my high point as a fan, was when we had the 15-point lead and found out UCLA lost.  And I'm all thinking, "holy sh*t, we're going to play for the National Fracking Championship".  All downhill from there since.

High point as a MBB fan -- beating ku in the OOD.
