His top recruit doesn't want to be in Lawrence, the recruit's dad is propping up his sons as better than anyone on the current team, his starting PG is in a battle with Mangino for heaviest employee of the university, and he's bald.

The Henry's probably aren't happy with the financial package that ku is putting together.
Dad Henry factored out what he was paid to play at ku into real time dollars, compared it to ku's offer sheet and is having major heartburn over it.

ku's preseason #1 and the favorite to win it all next year. Four guys on next year's roster are projected to be 1st round NBA Draft picks. The consensus #1 overall prospect for '10, Harrison Barnes, is rumored to be favoring ku. $55 million in renovations to Allen Fieldhouse, along with construction of a basketball practice facility, are almost complete. Renovation of the Jayhawk Towers is underway. ku's athletic department finished #11 overall in the country in total revenue for the '07-08 season. The football program is preseason top 25 and the favorite to win the Big 12 North.
Meanwhile, K-State's athletic department is in shambles. Corruption from top to bottom, including the former university president and athletic director. The football program is the worst its been since the 1980's. K-State had to re-hire Bill Snyder because no one else would take the job. The basketball program is 1-6 vs. ku in the last three years and still can't break into the top 25. One NCAA tournament win since 1988. Fresh off of a blowout loss to San Diego State in the NIT.

Oh and Ben . . . ku athletics isn't paying for the renovation of Jayhawk Towers and just in case you need to know, there's a (mostly) new $110 million dollar housing complex sitting right next to most of K-State's athletic facilities, the largest on campus project in Kansas Board of Regents History.

CJ Henry signed a $1.5 million signing bonus with the New York Yankees. It's not like they're hurting for money. You K-State fans are awfully concerned about the Henry's, though. A little worried about ku winning its second national title in three years?
Well, you have to admit that hawk fans would be lolling their asses off if Michael Beasley's mom (also imagine she's an alumni) was blowing off Frank Martin and talking about how he didn't want to come to KSU prior to the school year to any reporter that would listen.

was listening to some radio dj on the way home from work today named kevin keetsman. anyway, this dj said that the ku basketball players are now saying they don't want to go to ku since the article in the kansas city star newspaper came out. oh boy, this one will most certainly be a doozy. lol.
