Title: So, a good friend from High School was vactioning in my part of the world . . .

My friends Brother-in-law is a coach at a KC high school, several interesting tidbits:

1.  Interest in K-State has picked up tremendously since the return of OB.  Their staff and players had pretty much written off K-State under Prince.  With the Silver Fox's return . . . complete 180, with this school, this is a good thing, a must.

2.  Coaching clinic at ku . . . lunch break, copius quantities of BBQ, Mangino comes in, doesn't say a word to a soul, proceeds to eat a massive pile of BBQ, leaves the room.   Just a few hours later, dinner . . . coaches enter room stacked high with pizza's, most are not hungry, because of the massive spread from lunch.  In walks Mangino, doesn't say a word to a soul, he grabs a large pizza pie, sits down, devours it, leaves the room.  

3.  Same friend (huge K-State family mind you) has major connection right inside K-State hoops.  Hoops Staff absolutely gigged with where the program is at and with the influx of talent . . . Frank Martin, beyond cool.

Unsolicited my friend offered yet another $hit towel story, this time via some poor ku team manager and not a ku athletic department intern.

Had to cut him off . .  .  :barf:

Friend said peon rank and filers on the AFH side of campus threw a little private party when Football moved to the other side of campus
