callahan's historic 2004 season started 4-2 just like kstate is now, but they finished 1-4. keep in mind this was a nebraska team coming off a 9 win season and a nebraska program with 35+ seasons of winning football/bowl games. not exactly 2 straight losing seasons.
but but but nebraska switched their offense!!
well so did kstate this season.
no way you guys win 2 more games!!
well with games against isu at home, a game at cu, and a game at ku (ignoring this weekends game) 2 wins from those is doable.
that 2004 team had all of soliches bad recruits!!!
4 players got drafted in 2005 from nebraska. do any of kstate's players get drafted this year?
either way, we need to compare apples to apples. prince's first year to callahans first year.
fact is callahan came in with all his "superbowl" experience and immediately took a 9 win team to 5 wins and the worst loss in program history.
prince is a first time head coach and you could easily argue he's off to a better start than old cally. just imagine if he makes a bowl!!
