Title: Bracketology 6/17
Post by: Boatsman on June 18, 2009, 01:10:05 AM
KSU climbing and hot with the 7 seed in the Midwest.

On a side note I was at Pat's Blue Ribbon on Sunday watching the NBA finals when Curtis Kelly, Dominique Sutton and Merriweather walked in and saddled up to the bar with my friend and I.  Kelly enjoys chicken tenders with lots of seasoning salt and BBQ sauce and is a Lakers fan.  Sutton is truly imposing when he is right next to you.  Chris chilled at the bar with his female companion after the rest of the players took their food to go.

Well, i like that he thinks we're a 7 seed and I like that we could play spoiler to the hawks in that scenario. However, I don't like that he's got us as the lowest (tied) seed of the 7 Big XII teams that make it.

Mizzou is a 9 seed.  So is the Big 12 going to be the most elite confernces next year?  2 # 1 seeds  1-3 seed 1-5 seed 2-7 seeds 1-9 seed.  No double digit seeds looks pretty elite to me!

I have looked at flights and they aren't bad at all from Omaha.  Plus, Midwest airlines is terribly elite.  Thinking about booking now since the bracket just came out to avoid the rush.  When are game times announced?  Is there a bar that Kat fans will be gathering at pre & post game?  TIA IMO
