I was at Scheels today and they had a big display with each team's gear for sale.  Would love to see KSU gear for sale in Omaha.   :crybaby:

We went to an ice cream shop in Dundee today that had different mixes for each team.  They had a tally on the wall for each and whichever team's kind sold the most won.

I went to the Championship games in 2005, saw tejas sweep Florida in two.  Good times.  That's a really fun place.  Would definitely recommend it.

Hey Coach Hill, it'd sure be nice to see some purple up there in 2010.  And certainly in 2011 at the new stadium.

Going to be much better at the new stadium.  Actual parking and bars nearby.  Plus, Rosenblatt is a dump.  Everyone here was all, "Don't knock down Rosenblatt!  It is a historic jewel in the city of Omaha!" and I was all, "PFFTT, it's a dump and is gross and I hate it and is smells and it's in a bad neighborhood and I would rather the zoo use the space to get pandas!"

Do you bring extra or do you just toss leftovers?  What carries the best?  Will they eat apples?

You can wing saltine crackers out there.  Never seen an apple but I'm sure they would go for it.  Lot of bread makes the trip but usually falls way short and is koy food.

HUGE baserunning mistake.  Cost uva the game and a chance to play another day.

FYI, might still be the same one, but the big silver back gorilla that was there in '88 loved grapes and he is an very good catcher.  Don't miss though, tends to piss him off and he'll use his finger to prod you into trying again.

No, you can still mix it up with the birds.  Mrs. dave won't go in there though because she saw some lady get totally dumped on by some feathery bomber.

They are going to hit the baseball and it is going to explode into a splat of lava but instead of being melted rock this lava will be melted baseball.  It will be 9,000 degrees celcius but still provide a cooling mist to the pitcher because it's just that hot.  Also, prolly all the zoo animals will die other than the ones that are accustomed to living on the surface of the sun and those that are comprised of pure heat instead of solid matter.  It's that hot folks  :frown:

So the CWS experience was pretty meh.  I had decent reserve seats but still felt like I was sitting in a Soviet rocket.

Notes:
-LSU was a very disappointing team for a day.  They just never capitalized on anything.  But still would not root for Horns.   :yuck:
-LSU fans are fairly creepy and bayouishy.  Here is their version of Weird Robert.  It is a really drunk chick in a sombrero.

They had another guy who was head to toe even hair body painted and seemed to have a nervous social disorder but he wasn't sitting by me so you get drunk sombrero chick instead.

-While most LSU fans are odd, all Horn fans were douche machines.  Like seriously all of them.  Asshole City.

-Really funky all yellow uniforms for LSU :yuck:

-Most important thing is that every major, championship winning school, who also wears purple has a power towel.

-The neighborhoods around Rosenblatt are ridiculously scary.  Not gangish or anything, but I swear I head a banjo playing the Deliverance theme as I walked back to my car.   :ohno:

Worth the experience, but probably not going again until the Bat Quats make it.

my fav part of the cws is when people who live around the stadium put big trashcans on the street in front of their house and try to "tape" the area off to keep you from parking there.

guess what numnutzes? it's the street in front of your house. it's not your property. i'll park there if i want to. lmao. they all do it.

"that time a year again phil. ima heading out to my unattached garage to get the cws trashcans. can you help me w/ them? they're kinda heavy"

This is a ridiculous post.  No one who lives near there could put together that sentence.  More like, "Woman get those metal thingies the city keeps giving us round back by the trash pile!  Those Metal cows that gots people in em' are back ageeeuhn!"
