See, Ole' Boone donated a pot full of money to the university, BUT he made them keep it in his fund instead of liquidating those dollars and putting them in secure ultra short-term holdings. Then, the great depression 2.0 hits and POOFFFFFF.....no more athletes village, no more gold plated urinals in the locker room.
Sure, it may happen eventually....but you'll be long, long gone by the time a single floor tile is laid. You won't get to enjoy a lick of it. Suckers.

Umm . . . the football program has all new dressing rooms, offices, training table, weightroom etc. etc. etc.
This was for the indoor practice facility and athletic villages.

Dude I know . . . but they pretty much got the gold platted pissers, and the new training table over looking T. Boone Pickens is going to be sweet.
What they aren't getting now is the indoor practice facility, even though they've got $20 million pledged towards that and the actually "athletic village", but they did get all new stuff for the football offices and dressing rooms and such.

Kansas state: Believed to be the largest such facility in college football, the Wildcats’ 94,000-square-foot indoor practice venue was built for $2.2 million in 1993.
